Mission & History

The Innovation Technology Alliance (ITA) is designed as a strategic partnership driven by the Hellenic-Spanish Chamber of Commerce, with the primary objective of fostering strong collaborations between the innovation ecosystems of Greece and Spain. The ITA aims to bring together government bodies, businesses, and research institutions from both countries to jointly develop and implement cutting-edge technologies, focusing on key technological areas.
The ultimate goal of the ITA is to promote knowledge transfer, drive cross-border innovation, and create scalable technological solutions that can be adopted both locally and globally. In collaboration with key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, the ITA will focus on
building sustainable partnerships that will enhance the competitiveness of both countries in the digital economy.
The Chamber will work closely with Greek and Spanish innovation hubs, academic institutions, technology firms, and governmental agencies to organize workshops, stakeholder meetings and foster agreements and collaborations that drive innovation, enhance bilateral relations, and support sustainable economic development.
The partnership will also align with European Union digital priorities, ensuring that both Greece and Spain remain at the forefront of technological advancements and innovation in Europe.
